Settling In With Baby

Childbirth Education, Birth and Postpartum Doula Services

Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.

About image
I graduated from Biola University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, passed my state boards and practiced as a floor Nurse for about 12 years and for the last 25+ years have worked with mothers and babies in some capacity. I have worked in Pediatrics, NICU, Labor and Delivery, Newborn Nursery and Postpartum as a nurse.
I am a Childbirth Educator, a  DONA certified Birth Doula, a CAPPA trained Postpartum Doula, a Breastfeeding Counselor, a new mom group facilitator and  the ONLY BRM (Body Ready Method) Certified PRO in Riverside County.
To say I wear many hats is an understatement. My life's calling is that of service and my love is for expectant families. I enjoy walking you through the exciting times of pregnancy, birth and the first few weeks of your postpartum journey. I support you in your choices and meet you where you are. I bring the calm to your situation as we navigate together learning about pregnancy, walking through birth and postpartum together.
I consider myself more of a 'hospital' or birth center doula, I guess it has a lot to do with my nursing background. But with the recent change in events I will support a home birth mom if that is her choice. I support moms that want to have an unmedicated birth in the hospital, those that want the epidural as soon as they can have one and those that want to see how labor goes. I have also been that support for moms having a belly birth by choice and by necessity.
My husband and I have one grown daughter, a son-in-law and three of the cutest grandsons ever, with the littlest newby born  in 2022.
This is so much more than a job, this is my calling!  And though I don't refer to my doula families as "numbers" for my accolades, I've been lucky enough to have worked with more than 250+ families over the course of my career.
I'd love to get to know you!

Currently providing in person Childbirth Education Classes at Rancho Springs Medical Center as well as private via Zoom,  BRM Asessments (Prenatal Prep), Virtual Birth and Postpartum Doula support for 2023 with limited openings for in person birth support Jan - Mar 2024.
